Not so trendy, this outfit...
Every day (Monday-Friday) for 30 days, I'm getting radiation. And once a week during those 6 weeks, I'm getting chemo, too. In order to save my hair they gave me a cold cap, as seen here. I was meant to wear it for 2.5-3 hours, but after half time I had to give up. It was like sticking your head in a deep freezer. Imagine doing that for 3 hours in a row! I just couldn't handle it any longer.
To comfort me, the docs have said I won't be losing all my hair, it will only become thinner for a while until the chemo treatment is finished. Anyhow, the treatment is making me very tired. So that's why I've been absent so much lately. But I want to let everyone know that I truly cherish your visits and comments on my blog. They make my day a little bit brighter. I will be back doing the rounds to visit your blogs, too, as soon as I feel up for it. Thank you, all of you! :)

ReplyDeleteAnd girlfriend, you totally pull off that outfit!!! :)
Just found your blog all the way from Australia!
ReplyDeleteI'm so saddened to read of your battles with cancer and the health system in Norway. My mother was diagnosed with Breast Cancer last year and I know the struggles associated with this disease. But it amazes me how you always manage to find strength even in the darkest hours.
Reading your blog, you are a true inspiration! I wish you all the very best with your latest battle and may your fighting spirit pull you through. Prayers will be sent from Australia tonight! Lots of Love xx

ReplyDeletePeace and healing light to you, there are many supporters behind you to draw strength from. Close your eyes and return to Paris...
