And the winner is.......Golden Globe dresses

Last night's Golden Globe ceremony saw a host of dresses in many colors and styles. The Daily Mail has a good selection of photos from the event. While there were a lot of nude, purple and pink hues, the overall trend seems to be anything goes colorwise. What is worth noting though, no matter the design or color of the dresses, is that only a couple of the girls are wearing necklaces. The majority sticks to earrings and / or bracelets only.

Im not particularly fond of frills, allover satin, ballroom marshmallows or dragging half of the tailor's roll of fabric after you, I like it fairly simple and classic. My favorites in no particular order:

Kate Hudson in a stunning, white Marchesa gown. Ah..those clean cut lines:

Then, there's Jennifer Aniston in Valentino. Perfectly showing off her fab body while still keeping it classy. Love, love, love those shoes!:

Penelope Cruz also opted for black, in Armani Privée. Love how the dress and the white pearl earrings compliments her Spanish heritage. I think she looks ravishing:

As for the rest of them - from great via meh....and unclassy (check out the images of Halle Berry to see what I mean, too much on display)... to downright WTF? Zoe Saldana should sack her stylist for wrapping this lovely, young thing up in granny's old curtains!
